Jyotish: Reading a Chart
The grammar of the birth chart — houses, grahas, dashas — taught as a skill, not a fortune.
A working course in the grammar of the birth chart, taught as a skill you practise rather than a fortune you receive. We start with the sky itself — what a rashi is, why the chart is drawn the way it is — and build up slowly until you can read a chart on paper, without software deciding for you.
Sessions are part instruction, part reading practice. You will work on your own chart and on anonymised charts supplied by the teaching team, and you will be corrected kindly and often. No predictions are taught as certainties; the emphasis is on reasoning you can show your work for.
Who it suits - Complete beginners who can name their birth date, time and place - People who have read popular astrology and want the actual method - Anyone who wants to check what a jyotishi tells them, rather than take it on trust
What you'll take away - Cast and read a rashi chart without software crutches - Interpret the nine grahas and twelve bhavas in combination - Work through Vimshottari dasha timing - Judge the strength of a claim about a chart, including your own
