How to cleanse your crystals — the way your grandmother would

Before a crystal works for you, it has to be emptied of every hand that touched it before yours. Cleansing is not superstition — it is hospitality. You are preparing a place for an energy you have invited home.

Salt water is the deepest reset, but never use it on soft stones (selenite, malachite, calcite) — they will dissolve.

Full moonlight is the softest. Place the stone on a clean cloth on the sill from moonrise to sunrise. Works on every kind of crystal.

Camphor or sandalwood smoke clears the field around the stone. Pass it three times clockwise through the smoke.

Mantra — for the patient. Hold the stone and chant Om 108 times. The vibration is the cleanse.
